Channel X are filled with pride to declare that sister company Channel K have been nominated for two RTS North West Awards for BBC3 series ‘Lunch Monkeys’. The nominations and congratulations go to David Isaacs (Best Scriptwriting, Lunch Monkeys) and Chris Hannon (Best Performance in a Comedy, Lunch Monkeys).

Channel X are set to make a series of sketches entitled 'Two Men at a Bar' for a Fosters website created specifically for comedy. The sketches will be available at www.fostersfunny.co.uk, which will also exclusively see the return of Alan Partridge.




KING OF QUEENS

September 2010

Channel X have teamed up with renowned Britsh comedian Julian Clary to produce his first ever stand-up DVD. The ‘Lord of the Mince’ tour is set to be filmed at The Lowry, Salford, and released at the end of the year.




MODERN TOSS AIRS ON 4MUSIC

July 2010

Irreverent part-animated sitcom ‘Modern Toss’ is set for its debut on 4Music. The show has previously aired on Channel 4 and Bravo in the UK and is also available on DVD.




MANFORD DELIVERS FOR C4

June 2010

Channel X-produced Jason Manford’s ‘Live at the Manchester Apollo’ received a huge number of viewings on it’s Channel 4 debut as it was watched by 1.7million people with an audience share of 10.6%. The show is set to be repeated on both C4 and E4.




WORKING WITH JOHN BISHOP

Channel X can officially report that filming for John Bishop’s debut DVD at the Liverpool Empire theatre went incredibly well and we all look forward to the official release in November.




FILMING BEGINS

May 2010

Channel K have begun filming a second series of BBC3 sitcom Lunch Monkeys. Set in Manchester, the popular sitcom that centres on the young mischievous post room employees at fictional law firm Fox Cranford, will see the entire cast return, including Nigel Havers, plus a few new faces.




BABY COW DEVELOPMENT DEAL SIGNED

April 2010

Channel X are proud and excited to announce that we have just signed a 3 year development deal with Steve Coogan and Henry Normal’s Baby Cow Productions Ltd (Gavin and Stacey, Mighty Boosh, Ideal, Saxondale). The two comedy stables are working together to develop shows for TV and the internet, as well as exploring ways to further exploit their rich back catalogues.
